We aim to educate residents on the impact of various revenue streams and how they benefit the city, local businesses, and the community as a whole. Through collaboration and high standards, we work to protect and strengthen the businesses that make Edwardsville a great place to live, work, and enjoy. The expansion of video gaming will offer a consistent revenue stream for the city and its business partners. Currently Edwardsville allows gaming for fraternal organizations such as the Legion, Moose, etc, but not for restaurants. Expanding gaming to existing bars and restaurants would add more tax revenue that is currently going every town around Edwardsville, including across the street in Glen Carbon. This additional revenue could be used by the city to:
